As quickly as fall came, so did winter in the Midwest like a bat out of hell. December 1st came in strong with a small little winter mix that really turned our little slice of heaven into a winter wonderland. Between skating cars and road closures, I will say it was a scary time out there folks.
Most of the snow is already gone now - funny enough. If you are familiar with the Midwest there is a saying, wait a few minutes and the weather will change. Needless to say that cold weather has still stuck around - its the kind that just soaks deep into the bone marrow. I don’t know about you, I am so ready to hibernate until the chirping of springtime birdies lets me know that it’s time to come out for that warm weather. The only exciting part about winter is family time.
Between hot cocoa and tea, our family kicks back and watches Christmas movies. We also try to do other fun holiday events but that one is probably one of my favorites. We have a little jar that holds a good portion of Christmas movies and we choose one for the night to watch. What is your favorite Christmas movie?
GREMLIN ENERGY
We don’t have a ton of news to report from our little author world right now — just two gremlins at our keyboards, still churning out words one chaotic chapter at a time.
